Granted, he really did want it... I just think I might have lost my touch. I used to make him all kinds of romantic things. A paint can decoupaged with pics of us and filled with goodies, scrapbooks & picture albums, etc. The only problem is that when you make stuff like that you can never get rid of it, and I already have box full b/c I don't want it out on shelves, but can't bring myself to throw it away either. I guess we're finally old enough that Valentine's Day is going to be practical (at least for his gifts), which is fine by me.
{As a side note, Zombieland is actually hilarious, one of our new favorites. It is rated R for language, so keep that in mind.}
Oh well, he loved it. And I loved all of my presents. To keep up with the romantic feel of the evening, we went and saw Wolfman.
It was eehhhh so so. Super gory, and the wolfman kept popping out, so I don't know if I would recommend it. I'd wait to rent it if you are interested. Anyway, after the movie we went to BJ's to eat, came home and watched about 45 mins of Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban, and went to sleep at 11:30. All in all, a very good Valentine's Day!

So Mark brought home flowers on the Friday before Valentine's, gave me my gift the next day -- which was a Coach purse, and then he had a sweet-as-syrup card and box of chocolates for me on Sunday. I gave him a pocket knife and Nerf dart gun set with extra dart refills on Saturday, then gave him a funny-haha card with the same box of chocolates he'd just given me on Sunday. Romantic schmomantic, indeed! :)
Oh, he also had chocolate covered strawberries with the flower gift. And while I should mention the Coach bag came from the outlet, still...it's a Coach!
