Cake Balls.... Yum!

Happy Easter!

School stinks and is really hard, but every once in a while it's just great.  These are flowers my denture patient gave me at our last appointment.  So beautiful!!

It's Easter time!  My mom sent us this delicious cookie cake to our house- yummy!

We've had a really busy weekend!  Friday night we went out to Jill's in-laws for a barbecue, and oh man was it amazing!  The food was absolutely delicious, and it was fun to be out in the country.  We didn't do too much on Saturday, just study and bake, but today (Sunday) was tons of fun.  We went to church and then to Jordan's parents house and Linda made an amazing lunch!  We ate way too much, sat around trying to stay awake, and then the kids had an Easter egg hunt.

I made these cupcakes for today's lunch, and I think they came out really cute!  My cake decorating teacher would be so proud... 

 

Today was such a wonderful day.  Jesus' death and resurrection is the greatest gift we could receive and I feel so blessed to have an amazing family to celebrate it with!

Tenley Evans

Picnik

Photoshop shmotoshop.  I have discovered Picnik and I LOVE it!!  It doesn't have all the features of Photoshop, but it has really cool ones that Photoshop doesn't have.  Plus it is WAY cheaper!  Here are 2 before and afters. 

I don't know if you can tell what I did... but I smoothed out our skin quite a bit, and I added blush, lipstick, and 'mascara'.  There is also a feature to add tanning and it's pretty awesome.  I would recommend going to Picnik and just play around with it!

For years Jordan and I have wanted to host a St. Patty's Day party b/c we love Ireland so much, but we haven't had the room or opportunity.  This year we had a small shindig with 2 other couples and had lots of fun!



Baby Shower

Last Sunday was my lifelong (literally) friend, Kelcy's, baby shower.  From left to right: my mom, Misti, Kelcy, Kelcy's sis Amber, me, Kelcy's mom.  Over Christmas Kelcy's dad found video of my mom and Kelcy's mom's baby showers from 26 years ago, and it is just crazy that here we are having baby showers! 

Amber made a super cute diaper cake.

My cake decorating class paid off a little bit... we bought these bite size brownies, then I decorated them with little roses.  All the food was so delicious, including the chocolate fountain- yum!

I love my feather wreath, and LOVE LOVE LOVE it in the pink that Jaime made for Jemma's room, so I decided to make one for baby Tenley's room.  I think it turned out really cute and Kelcy liked it, so that's all that matters!

 I am so excited about seeing Kelcy and Cody's baby.  I have actually known both of them since we were born.  Kelcy and I grew up on the same street and the 3 of us went to church together.  I am so proud of them and all their accomplishments, and I know they will be amazing parents!
