Since the first day of school, we have been told over and over that the theft of our laptops (and therefore patient information) is a serious security issue. We were given the laptop locks that lock it down to a desk and were strongly encouraged to use them. Apparently there has been a recent surge in laptop theft because we walked in to this on Monday:

It immediately made me crack up, slightly brightening my morning. I would like you to notice the zip-ties added this morning... it seems that laptops are not the only hot item on the black market. I must say, I would have loved making this poster an artpiece on my wall...
